Private Driver Cost in Qatar

We only publish figures we can verify with the regulator, and we're still building our Qatar route and cost data. In the meantime, here's what's official today:

• Domestic workers in Qatar are covered by Law No. 15 of 2017, which sets working hours, weekly rest, paid leave and end-of-service entitlements.
• The minimum wage (Law No. 17 of 2020) is QAR 1,000 per month, plus QAR 300 for food and QAR 500 for housing when the employer does not provide them directly.
• Recruiting from abroad goes through recruitment offices licensed by the Ministry of Labour, with a written employment contract certified by the Ministry.
• The domestic-worker visa itself is approved by the Ministry of Interior (applications run through Metrash2 / Hukoomi).
